Amara began teaching Catamaran Sailing Lessons in 1978 before she turned 16.

In 1986 Amara Skippered a Hobie 16 Catamaran and won the prestigious Royal Veruna Yacht Club Round the Island Race.

She competed for Thailand and travelled the world competing for 25 years on the Windsurfing Team.

Her dream to run a Surfing and Sailing Club on her home beach of Jomtien is realised and now the lessons continue at Amara Watersports Club at Blue Lagoon Pattaya Thailand.

Our Mission: Increase awareness and quality of information about safe water-sports. Ultimately bring more Thai and other peoples closer to nature through water and wind sports, thus playing our part in developing a water sports culture that will nurture Thailand and our Planets oceans, waterways and wetlands into the future.
